Training will be conducted from Monday to Saturday except Sundays. So, the total effective training days for DMAS will be 4 Weeks.

Training will also not be held on National Holidays – Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Holi & Diwali, which will be covered in additional working day.

Demonstration of port closure instruments and various uterine manipulators.

Demonstration of laparoscopic extracorporeal Square knot for fundoplication, burch suspension, myoma, partial nephrectomy, rectal prolapse and vault closure
03:00 pm – 04:30 pm Lecture / PPT / Video presentation Demonstration of Optical instruments used in minimal access surgery including telescopes with different diameters, different visual axes and different numbers of rods and lenses. Different types of cameras, including single-chip and three-chip camera. Differences between Standard Definition and High Definition cameras. Various types of Standard Definition and High Definition monitors. Various types of light source like Halogen, Xenon and LED and demonstration of types of light source cables (fiber-optic and gel cables).
